Office of Human Research Participant Protection (HRPP)
~An Institutional Commitment to the Protection of Human Research Participants~
NOTICE: iRIS will be down for upgrades from Saturday, September 27th beginning at 12:00am until October 7th 2014. We are anticipating the upgrade process to take less than a week but have scheduled iRIS to be offline for the entire time in case necessary.
For this reason, the IRB meeting and deadline schedule has been revised to allow for the upgrade. Please keep this in mind when deciding on when to submit submissions to the IRB, especially Continuing Review submissions for studies that expire in September.
Please refer to the updated IRB Meeting Schedule to ensure your study is reviewed before its expiration.
Please contact the IRB office at (405) 271-2045, if you have any questions/concerns regarding the timeframe.
Trouble with iRIS? Please contact the HRPP Office at (405) 271-2045 for assistance.
IRB In-House Education Progam: For information on how to register, click here.
Registration for CITI (Collaborative IRB Training Initiative) requires that you provide a primary email address. It's imperative that you provide your OUHSC email address (not Gmail, Yahoo, etc.). The new IRB electronic submission system (iRIS) will not receive your updated CITI course completion information if another email is provided. Also, several individuals have provided their user ID in their password (email@example.com), this is incorrect. Typically, the address structure is: firstname.lastname@example.org
For more information, click on the Education link from the main menu on the left.
Individuals who are not employees or students of OUHSC or an employee of one of its affiliates can complete the CITI using their institution’s email. We will not be providing OUHSC IT accounts/emails to non-OU collaborators. For more information, click on the iRIS link from the main menu.
NOTE: Internet Explorer (IE) version 10 is NOT compatible with the iRIS electronic submission system. If you have updated to IE 10, to work in iRIS you will need to either use Firefox or Chrome as your browser or have your Tier 1 remove IE 10 and restore IE version 9.
