About Us

The Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Faculty Development at the OU Health Sciences Center oversees two overarching areas. In academic affairs, the VP works with college and university leaders to establish HSC-wide academic strategic priorities, prepare for accreditation and program reviews, and provide guidance on academic policy and integrity matters. In faculty development, the VP works with faculty, administrative, and student leaders to develop, offer, and evaluate HSC mission-specific and academic career-focused professional development opportunities. Offerings include avenues to enhance the knowledge, skills, and aptitudes of faculty, and offering mentoring resources to faculty for career vitality, mission impact and effectiveness, and faculty satisfaction.
