- The prerequisites listed should match the one listed on the form submitted to APC.
- Learning Objectives
- Please list all expected learning objectives.
- Conduct of the Course
- Format – list the format in which the course will be taught.
- Assigned reading – list of reading for which students are responsible
for completing and should be prepared to discuss prior to the start of
class.
- Assignments – list all homework assignments, their due dates, the policy
on late submissions, and all expectations for homework.
- Examinations – list the type of examinations for the course and the frequency
in which they will be administered.
- Method of Evaluation and Grading
- Please list the grading scale
- Please list the graded components and how they will be weighted.

- Course Outline
- When possible, please include a course outline detailing the material
that will be covered in each class meeting.

- Registration and Withdrawal
- Please include a statement on the University policy on Registration and
Withdrawal. Such a statement might read:
You are responsible for being
sure that all University paperwork required for this course is done correctly
and turned in before the deadline. In particular, if you choose to withdraw
from this course you must complete the appropriate University form, obtain
the required signatures, and turn the form in before the deadline. If
you stop attending the course and doing the course work without doing
the required paperwork your grade will be calculated with missed homework
and examination grades entered as zero. This could result in receiving
a grade of F in the course. Deadlines are shown in the Academic Calendar,
which is available from the Office of Admissions and Records or online
