International Student Advisor Responsibilities

All students must "check-in" at the Office of Admissions and Records. Copies of your immigration documents will be made and your original transcripts will be reviewed. Your immigration file will be created from these copies. Note: There will be a "HOLD" placed on your enrollment until this check-in has been completed.

Monitor and track information for F-1 admitted applicants and students Homeland Security system called SEVIS.

Advise and process immigration applications in the following areas:

• On-Campus Employment
• Off-Campus Employment
• Pre-Completion Optional Practical Training
• Post-Completion Optional Practical Training
• Program Extensions
• Change of Majors
• Change of Degree
• Change of Visa Status
• Change of Address
• Replacement I-94
• Reinstatements
• Preparation to Visit Home
• Curricular Practical Training
