Know Your Deadline
Application deadlines vary by department, degree program, and sometimes degree track. See OUHSC Major Codes and Deadlines for a complete listing. Early submission of application and materials is encouraged.
Submit the Application for Admission
- Select the appropriate application for your choice of major from the Application Jump-off page.
- Create an account and save the PIN and password. If you have applied previously it will be necessary to create a new account. Prior applications cannot be updated or resubmitted.
- Complete the application and pay applicable fees. Fees vary by major program and are calculated at the end of the process. Application fees are non-refundable.
- View the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's). If you have questions not addressed, contact the Applicant Advisor for your major plan.
- International applicants click HERE for additional information.
- Students applying to academic degree programs in Public Health, DDS or PharmD apply through a centralized application service. An OUHSC supplemental application is required for these programs.
Submit Supporting Materials
- Submit official transcripts in original, sealed envelopes from each institution previously attended. Send updated transcripts when any new grades or degrees are posted.
- Electronic transcripts should be sent to Admissions@ouhsc.edu and are accepted as official if received from one of the following secure services:

- National Student Clearinghouse
- Docufide
- XAP
- AVOW
- Common Application
- Transcript Exchange
- National Transcript Center
- Students at the OU-Norman campus are not required to submit OU-Norman transcripts. We will obtain this for you. It is important however, to report OU-Norman in the Education section of the application, including dates of attendance.
- A verification of enrollment (including coursework) also must be submitted for any classes in progress. Copies of class schedules are acceptable as verification of enrollment.
- High school transcript requirements vary by major program and department. Refer to the college's website for specific program requirements.

- Submit additional program materials, if required. Refer to the college's website for a list of requirements and instructions as needed.
- Official GRE scores, if required, should be submitted through ETS using OUHSC institution code 6902. (Public Health applicants will use 4244).
- Official scores for Test of English as a Foreign Language should be submitted through ETS using OUHSC institution code 6902 . (Public Health applicants will use 5688). Visit Official TOEFL Score (English Proficiency) to view requirements for students born in countries where English is the second language.
- Submit evaluation of foreign credentials through World Education Services and identify the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center as the receiving institution. Evaluations from agencies other than WES will not be accepted. For additional information visit www.wes.org.
Check the Status of Your Application Materials
- It is your responsibility to confirm that all application materials are received and coursework is accurately posted to your file by visiting the
Application Status website. - If you have questions pertaining to the application process or the online checklist, please view the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) page. Additional questions should be directed to the Applicant Advisor for your major plan.
- Admission notifications will be sent through the US Postal Service and will not be posted online. The timeframe for decisions vary by department, therefore you are encouraged to contact the major college or department for any answers related to the anticipated date.
- Admitted Naturalized U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) will be required to present original documents for viewing before first enrollment.
