As showcased at the College of Allied Health on the Oklahoma City HSC campus!
The Polycom® RSS™ 4000 server is a network appliance that records, archives, and streams telepresence and video conferences for playback on a wide variety of client devices including tablets, smartphones, desktops and standard-based video endpoints. Users can easily access and playback recorded content on a wide variety of client devices, including tablets, smartphones, desktop PCs, laptops, and standards-based video endpoints. Recorded content is converted to WMV format after capture and edited for posting. Links to those posts are then placed within D2L. The WMV format requires Windows Media Player to view.
Please Note: All lecturers/presenters must sign a release form allowing content to be archived and viewed later on a streaming server. To obtain a release form specific to your need, please contact Academic Media & Digital Services (AMDS) or (405) 271-2318.
Recording resources on Allied Health's RSS 4000 are limited and scheduled on a first come, first serve basis and shall not impede the capture of scheduled classes. To check availability of lecture capture resources using the RSS 4000, please contact Stormy Barnes or Thai Pham at the College of Allied Health.
