Take some biology courses (chemistry nice, too) - majoring in these subjects is fine for the Biotech lawyer career track.

Take at least one lab class (need to know how science process works!).
|
|
|
See if any law classes offered at your school or take some political science or pre-law classes.
|
|
|
See if you can volunteer or gofer with a law firm doing biotech or science patents (call offices around town).
|
|
|
Check out the Patent and Trademark Office WWW Site (PTO) to see what kind of activity is currently going on.

|
prepare for LSAT test if you are going to law school.
