If you think that the business career is your favorite,

* Take some biology courses (chemistry nice, too) - but seriously consider that majoring in a science is great if you get a MBA [Masters in Business Administration] later.

* Take at least one lab class (need to know how science process works!).

* Take economics and business classes.

* Read Wall Street Journal and other news sources.

* When you are taking economics classes think "how does this apply to a Biotech business?"

*

Consider getting a MBA degree - look for entrepeneurial or biotech emphasis schools.

*

Please note that many scientists will change over to a new career track in business later in life; the lab experience sure helps!
