Finding
Your Courses
Note:
Access to and participation in the Blackboard components to a
course does NOT ensure official enrollment in a HSC course. Credit
for coursework is only available if a student has followed and
completed all university requirements for enrollment and has received
verification of enrollment from the university registrar.
Courses
in which you are enrolled should be listed by CourseID
(course number, section, semester, name.) in the Courses You are Taking
section of either the My Blackboard or Courses tab
after you login successfully. To enter a course, click on
the course title link.

The following are some of the reasons a course or courses in which you are
enrolled is not displaying in the Courses You are Taking
section of the main Blackboard page:
- You
are officially enrolled in the course and fully enrolled through
Blackboard, but the instructor has made the course unavailable
. A course will only be listed in your Courses You
are Taking section once the instructor has made this course
available. To correct this
problem, contact your instructor. Note:
not all courses or instructors have a Blackboard site; please
verify that a Bb course should be available with the department
/ instructor first.
- You
are officially enrolled in the course but enrolled late or were
otherwise left off the official class roster when uploaded to
Blackboard. To correct this
problem, send an email to web-courses@ouhsc.edu
with your full name, HSC username and the course(s) in which you are enrolled (enrollment will be verified with your instructors or Admissions & Records before being placed in Blackboard). Note:
this process is NOT instantaneous and may take several days
to correct.
-
You
are not actually enrolled in the course or have not completed
the official enrollment process. To
correct this problem, contact your college or registrar.
