Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:  Discuss long term anticoagulation therapy for left-sided mechanical valves.  To discuss prosthetic valve dysfunction especially valve thrombosis.  To discuss evidence based management of left-sided mechanical valve thrombosis.
