Apo Lipoproteins Identify Atherogenic and Protective Types of LDL and HDL

Speaker:
Frank M. Sacks, MD, ScB, Professor of Cardiovascular Disease Prevention, Department of Nutrition, Harvard School of Public Health, Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School & Brigham and Women’s Hospital.  
  
Objectives:             
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:  Identify the apoliproproteins on LDL and their effect on LDL metabolism.  To identify the relation between apolipoproteins on LDL and heart disease.  To identify the apolipoproteins on the HDL and their effect on HDL function and relation to heart disease.
