User Name and Password

User names and passwords are assigned by the OUHSC IT Helpdesk. If you are not sure what your User Name and Password are, please call the Helpdesk at (405) 271-2203.

To help you remember what your user name might be, user names are typically generated from the first initial of your first name, and up to seven characters of your last name. There also may be a number at the end.

Example:

John Potter's user name should be "jpotter". There may be more than one John Potter employed at OUHSC so the OUHSC convention is to add a number on to the second John Potter's user name to distinguish between the two.

For instance: The first John Potter employed at OUHSC would be (typically) "jpotter". The second John Potter employed at a later date would (typically) get assigned "jpotter1".
