Management of Urge Incontinence
The usual first-line treatment, after treating contributing factors, consists
of anticholinergic drugs in those without outlet obstruction, or alpha-agonists
and estrogen, in women with both stress and urge symptoms.
Contributing factors
- Treat bladder infections
- Try dietary changes
some patients report that caffeine and/or alcohol can increase urge symptoms.
