Help
You are looking at a hypertext Help File. Several such files or "modules" have been developed to offer self-paced
learning opportunities for a variety of clinical topics in Geriatric medicine.
Each learning module is begun by double-clicking on the respective file (or file
icon) from within a Windows environment.
Instruction on surfing the module:
Use left mouse button to click wherever the cursor looks like a hand
or on . These special words are linked to other pages of information. Hypertext is
not linear and is not like a slideshow. Here, you click your way through the
material in any sequence that makes sense to you. We recommend that you explore
every button on the Contents Page. Use the green, linked words to "drill into" additional material that is in
any way unfamiliar to you.
A few special buttons and tabs are located near the top of the left frame of
your browser screen. This graphic includes hot spots describing their function.
Some topics, which are especially useful as printouts, will have this printer
icon. However, any page may be printed. (Note that to print pop-ups, you must use
the search button to select the pop-up as a full page.)
