Etiology: Abscessed Tooth (upper premolar
causing palatal swelling with drainage)
Description: Active inflammatory
response forcing pus into surrounding palatal tissue. Offending tooth
may be sensitive to percussion, displays mobility and causes constant
pain.
Treatment
Planning: Endodontics, surgical drainage and/or extraction with antibiotic
therapy.
