Summer Undergraduate Research Programs (SURP) As the state's only comprehensive academic graduate center providing advanced degrees for biomedical scientists, the Graduate College at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) has developed and hosts a cadre of summer programs aimed at encouraging undergraduate students to pursue a career in biomedical research. Three programs are currently housed on the OUHSC campus. They are the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience Program (SURE), the Native American Center for Health (NARCH), and the IDeA Network Biomedical Research (INBRE) Student Development Program.
