UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER
In April 2008, President Boren appointed an interdisciplinary Health Sciences Center Threat Assessment Review Committee (“TARC”). This committee monitors and addresses threats or potential threats that may pose safety issues on the Health Sciences Center campus. The Chair of TARC is Ken Rowe, Vice President for Administration and Finance; however, any TARC member may call a meeting. The committee has a standing monthly meeting; but, will meet as needed to review reports of anti-social or aberrant behavior that fall short of criminal behavior but that are perceived to pose a potential threat to the safety and well-being of the people and/or property of the Health Sciences Center campus. The committee will provide the University President with the information generated through those reviews.
