Upon completion of this session, participants will improve their competence and performance by being able to: Describe the physiologic changes that occur in the human body in a microgravity environment. Outline the major health concerns face by astronauts, particularly in long-duration space flight. Examine various countermeasures used to combat potential health hazards faced by crewmembers.
