IRB Registration Requirement by the FDA
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a final rule requiring IRBs to register through a system maintained by DHHS. Click the following link for more information about the requirement: IRB Registration Requirement by the FDA . In accordance with the OUHSC FWA, the OUHSC IRBs are already registered. Click the FWA link above for the individual IRB registration numbers. The individual IRB registration numbers are also located on the top of each IRB membership roster and as noted below.
The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) IRBs are registered with DHHS. The effective date is 08/01/09 and the expiration date is 08/01/2012 for all OUHSC IRBs.
