Clinical Trials The Oklahoma Diabetes Center typically conducts numerous clinical trials relating to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of type 1 and type 2 diabetes. A list of studies that are currently recruiting is provided below for those who may be interested in volunteering in clinical studies. If you are considering volunteering for a clinical trial, there are many things to think about. Understanding the basics of clinical trials and the process can help you make a more informed decision. You do NOT have to have diabetes to participate in the registry. We use the registry to locate people who qualify for certain research studies. If you qualify for a research study based on the information in our registry, we contact and provide you with all the essential information you will need to make an informed decision about participating.
