NSU/OHAI Home Health Aide certification course allows those currently certified as a nurse aide to learn about assisting patients with completing important personal care needs within the home. Training includes written documentation of patient care, patient's current condition, and signs and symptoms to report to a supervising health care professional. NSU/OHAI HHA program arms you with problem solving approaches in caring for patients in their home or their home setting. A review of current guidelines and regulations with the help of our community partners in Home Health, Hospice and Companion Care agencies ensures the most current and up to date practices of the Home Health Aide. Interviews with facility site must be conducted prior to enrollment in this class.
