OHAI's Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program features a six-week enhanced curriculum designed to
teach you how to care for individuals, both at home and in a health care
setting. Training is divided into four modules, each enabling you to
advance your caregiving skills and competency. Courses are led by nurses
with geriatric and other health care experience. Taught in both classroom and home environment, students apply concepts issued in real life environments.
After successful completion of the course candidates are eligible to
proceed with state testing to include their LTCA/CNA certification as
well as their HHA Home Health Aide certification. Upon passing the state
exam, students will be eligible for two certifications as a Long-Term
Care Aide (LTCA/CNA) and Home Health Aide (HHA).
