Decision-Making in Cancer Screening

Research Description

There are two members of the program involved in this focus: Robert Hamm and Dewey Scheid. Dr. Hamm is PI for a CDC-funded study of patient and physician decision-making processes in HPV screening. Dr. Hamm has extensive collaboration with members of the Gyn/Onc program and has carried out part of his CDC study in American Indian communities. Dr. Scheid is PI for an R21 study of primary care physician decision-making processes in colorectal cancer screening.
