LiveScan Fingerprinting Services
***All Fingerprinting Services will be suspended through the OUHSC Campus Winter Break. From Friday December 22nd to January 1st 2018, all Fingerprinting Services are shut down. We will resume normal hours of operation Tuesday January 2nd 2018***
The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Police Department is now offering Livescan digital fingerprinting services to the campus and greater community. There are many reasons to obtain fingerprint cards, including job requirements, professional licensing boards (medical, nursing, teaching, etc.). We use fingerprint form FD258. You may also provide your own card(s). If you employer/agency provides you with fingerprint cards please do not pre-fill in any of the fields. The digital Livescan system will print in all of the blank fields that are required.
With Livescan, there is no need for ink-smudged fingers. Simply apply fingertips to the scanning surface, and like a scanner or photocopier, prints are transferred to the computer and output on a printed card. Although the Livescan program has the ability to direct-submit fingerprints to agencies, OUHSC PD does not currently offer this service. We will provide you with the fingerprint card(s) which you then give to the relevant agency or licensing board.
Our Department cannot complete fingerprints for SDA Handgun Licensing. All fingerprinting services for SDA Handgun Licensing must be completed by the County Sheriff’s Office in the County where you live.
