Drugs, Alcohol and Weapons on Campus

The University enforces all state laws regarding the possession, use, and sale of alcoholic beverages, including those prohibiting the consumption of alcoholic beverage to persons under the age of 21.

The University's Alcohol Policy is available for review in Human Resources, Staff and Faculty Handbook, and the Students Code of Responsibility and Conduct Handbook.

The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center enforces all state and federal laws concerning illegal drugs. Anyone apprehended by the OU HSC Police Department in possession of, using, or selling drugs will be detained. Students may additionally be charged under any existing University student disciplinary code.

In accordance with state law, no one other than a commissioned law enforcement officer may carry firearms on campus.
