In the interest of safety, The University of Oklahoma Police Department HSC has issued a Crime Bulletin for the OUHSC community. Officials at the University of Oklahoma HSC have recently been made aware of a burglary that took place on our campus.
The OUHSC Police Department has been informed that the following crime, which occurred on the OUHSC campus, and is being investigated by the OUHSC Police Department:
On Dec 23, 2014 at approximately 11:29am, our department received a call in reference to a purse being stolen. A black male in a black hoodie took the purse from a female employee at the College of Public Health on the 2nd Floor. A fellow co-worker heard the victim yell for help. He was able to chase the suspect down and detain him until police arrived. The suspect was identified by the victim. The suspect was identified as Montize Marshall B/M DOB: 6/29/1966, he also had 2 active warrants. The suspect was placed in the Oklahoma County Jail. He was also issued a notice to vacate and should not be on our campus. If seen on our campus in the future please notify the police department.
The University of Oklahoma Police Department HSC has issued this Crime Bulletin for the OUHSC Community in compliance with the “Timely Notice” provision of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Police and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998.
