Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to: Review epidemiology and natural history of asymptomatic carotid artery occlusive disease. To review evidence that forms foundation of curent guidelines for revascularization. To review evidence for strategies to determine risk of stroke. To describe the early results of "Coated-Platelets in Asympotomatic Carotid Stenosis (CoPACS)."
