Upon completion of this session, participants will improve their competence and performance by being able to:  Describe the concept of active e surveillance as an alternative to immediate treatment in thyroid cancer.  Describe a practical approach to proper patient selection for active surveillance.  Describe the growth kinetics of low risk papillary thyroid cancer.
