Welcome to the OU Norman Campus Radiation Safety Office!
Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
We
provide the following services:
Train radiation workers
Perform leak testing of sealed sources
Monitor and audit the labs using radioisotopes
Keep inventory of all radioisotopes used
Pick up radioactive waste
Perform thyroid uptake surveys
when needed
Provide emergency and spill assistance
Monitor individual radiation exposure
In case of emergency during off-hours, contact the OU police at 911.
