Tuition and Fees
The billing and collection of student tuition and fees are managed by the
Bursar's Office. Students not receiving adequate financial aid to pay all tuition
and fees due, may make monthly installments during the Fall and Spring terms.
Accounts with an outstanding balance after the initial due date will be assessed
a 1.5% service charge each month a balance remains on the student account.
Monthly bills are generated for students with an outstanding balance.
Students
not having met their financial obligation to the university prior to the end
of the term will be assessed a $50.00 late fee and will have a HOLD placed
on their account which prevents enrollment in future terms and the release
of official transcripts. If tuition and fees are being paid by a third party
(Army, Navy, etc.), please deliver the appropriate documentation to either
office as soon as the award is received.
The Bursar's Office has two locations
on the HSC campus. One is located in the Service Center Building, Room 118,
the branch office is located in the Student Union, Room 306, both offices are
open from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, except for University

International Checklist
For internationals, we put a service (hold) indicator on the SA system as
a reminder that the student must do a check-in with International Admissions
in Admissions & Records. During the admission process, she accepts certified copies of their academic credentials, so, once they arrive, the students are required to come by to review original transcripts/marksheets and then we start the immigration check-in (by copying their visa documents) while
we're at it. This process will allow us to clear the hold so they can continue
the enrollment process.

OUHSC students are required to provide proof of the following immunizations
prior to starting classes, or by the deadline set forth by your college these
include:
Tuberculosis Skin Test (PPD Mantoux) - Attach a record of a negative TB skin
test for two consecutive years. If it has been more than twelve months since
your last TB skin test, must undergo the two-step testing. (Two-step testing
distinguishes a boosted reaction for a reaction due to new infection). If you
have ever tested positive, attach a copy of a chest x-ray report and a copy
of physical examination report completed by a physician. If you have received
preventative therapy, attach a copy of the treatment record. Please note that
two-step testing requires 10-14 days apart.

sufficient. Attach evidence of two doses of vaccine at least 1 month apart
or a positive antibody titer.

and one adult Td immunization that you received in the last ten years, or attach
evidence of two adult Td immunizations, with at least one of these received

disease is not sufficient. Attach a copy of the varicella blood test report.
If the
blood test reveals non-immune status, you must receive two does of vaccine
at least 4 weeks apart.
Hepatitis B Immunization Series - is required for all students that will be
having potential exposure with blood. You may wait until shortly after classes
begin to initiate the hepatitis B immunization series. If you receive the first
dose of the vaccine before classes begin, you will need to receive subsequent
doses on schedule, which are one month, second month and fifth month apart.
If you have complete the series you must provide proof or a copy of a blood
test report as evidence of immunity.
Individual colleges may also require additional requirement depending on what
degree the student is pursuing, but will not be allowed less than the above
immunizations.
If you need vaccinations or tests, you may contact Student Health
Service office at the Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where, for a nominal fee, they
will provide the vaccinations and tests. You may contact them at 405-271-2577 for an appointment. Student Health Service is located at the Family Medicine
