What is being show here is the mirror image of the upper half (left, with zygometic arch) and lower half (right, with hard papate) after a horizontal section of the maxillectomy specimen is made after decalcification. Bone invasion is clearly demonstrated. The posterior aspect of the maxilla is not involved.
