SafeWalk is a free service that utilizes OUHSC Police to accompany members of the University Community anywhere on Campus when they need it. SafeWalk is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This includes all Campus Holidays.
Walking to and from your vehicle is always better in pairs or daylight hours, but this is not always possible. OUHSC SafeWalk is a way for you to get to your location safe and secure. Please call the OUHSC Police Department at 405-271-4300. Give the Dispatcher your name, location of where you are at, where you are going, and most importantly, your phone number. This way we will be able to call you back or better locate you to assist. SafeWalk can be a uniformed officer just being in the area, walking with you or giving you a ride to your car.
We do ask that you please be patient in utilizing this service. There are times that all officers are busy with a call for service or assisting others with SafeWalk.
