OU Children’s Physicians Hosts Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration

OU Children’s Physicians at The Children’s Hospital will host a Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration, including a Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast, Wednesday, March 6, to benefit the Reach Out and Read program.

Brunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for a minimum donation of $5 to the Reach Out and Read program. Dr. Seuss-themed activities will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. with a silent auction occurring from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., in the Atrium of The Children’s Hospital, 1200 Children’s Avenue. Reach Out and Read Oklahoma is part of the national Reach Out and Read network that has the mission to give young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together. OU Children’s Physicians Sooner Pediatric clinic presents its patients with a book when they come for an appointment at no cost to the patient.
