University of Oklahoma College of Medicine student Michael Lee is one of eight medical students nationwide to be named a Society of ’67 Thomas D. Kinney Scholar, a program of the Association for Academic Pathology (AAPath).

The University of Oklahoma announced today that Melissa Craft, Ph.D., has been appointed permanent dean of the Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing, effective June 1, pending OU Board of Regents’ approval. Craft has served as interim dean since July 2024.

The award will be presented during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, held May 30–June 3 in Chicago, Illinois.

The University of Oklahoma College of Allied Health celebrated the graduation of its first class of doctoral-level occupational therapy students this month. The OU program is the first accredited occupational therapy doctoral program in the state of Oklahoma. The program, which serves students in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, was recently changed from a master’s program to a doctoral program in order to widen opportunities for graduates in the future.
